FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval,the total annual cost of this action will be$246,626. The cost will be funded by the Health Care Initiative Funds(State Department of Health Services). There will be no net county costs associated with this request. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is requesting the addition of the four Patient Financial Service Specialist-Project positions due to an expansion the County's basic health care coverage program.
