BACKGROUND:
May 20-26, 2007 is National EMS Week, with the theme of"EMS: Extraordinary
People, Extraordinary Service." This resolution will honor local EMS providers
(paramedics, emergency medical technicians, first responders, fire fighters, police, and
volunteers), as well as to raise public awareness concerning health and safety issues,
