ACCEPT,as governing body of Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District,said Assignment of Easement on behalf of the District and DIRECT the Real Property Division to cause its delivery to the County Recorder for recording. District III CP#04-56 Project No.: 7576-6D9F07 DATE: May 22, 2007 PAGE: 2 of 2 REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: The County accepted certain real property, offered by map, on May 1, 2007, Series#2007-0128529, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for flood control purposes. The District will be performing maintenance and other related activities in the detention basins within Subdivision 7633. Transferring title to the District will give them the legal right to do the work. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared by Contra Costa County Community Development Department and approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 6, 2006. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Maintenance responsibility will not lie with the correct public entity.
