RECOMMENDATION: i
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to
execute a contract amendment with InTelegy Corporation to increase the payment limit by
$40,000 to a new payment limit of$212,800 to compensate Contactor for increased use of Medi-
cal Service Center Operations Support services not anticipated in original contract with no
change in the term of November 15, 2006 through August 14, 2007.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$212,800: 50% State Funds; 50% Federal Funds. No County costs.

SUBJECT: Amend Contract with InTelegy Corporation to provide Medi-Cal Service
Center Operations Support I
I
InTelegy Corporation continues to provide on-site and off-site consulting, project management
and training services for a state-of-the-art Medi-Cal Service Center. InTelegy is also
implementing audit recommendations for the improvement of ongoing operations and support.
InTelegy s expertise in the coordination and integration of the County Medi-Cal Service Center i
(Service Center) system in the areas of operations, performance management, technology, and i
infrastructure helps accommodate enhanced project management, program and systems
design, and expanded training on process and procedures to best serve the clients of the i
Service Center. InTelegy Corporation is assisting management in developing reports to track
actions. forecast workload volumes, and evaluate workflow for areas such as intake, case i
maintenance and phone customer care.
InTelegy Corporation will provide increased services provide in support to the Medi-Cal Service
Center task management and scheduling, workflow, personnel and training, and system
oversight to fully achieve the potential of the Service Center.
