BACKGROUND:
The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD)Aging and Adult Services Bureau.
with Area Agency-on Aging (AAA). contracts services for older residents of Contra Costa
County. The FY '-00_-'_008 Area Plan proposes continued services to provide the Alzheimer's i
Dav Care Resource Services. The program provides services to individuals, age 60 years and
older. to include supervision and activities for moderate to severe stages of Alzheimer's disease j
and related dementia. The plan proposes the provision of respite care. training. and supportive I
services to caregivers. (40-059-11)
