RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20302,ADDING one(1)permanent full time(40/40)Senior Disease Intervention
Technician(V7VB)position at salary level QT51480($4,446-$5,404): [Represented]
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, the total annual cost of this action will be$103,687. The cost will be funded by the State Immunization Budget. There
will be no net county costs associated with this request.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department is requesting the addition of the Senior Disease Intervention Technician position so that the
Immunization Program will be able to effectively provide education and immunization services to members.of the community with a
special emphasis on preschool and school aged children.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the Public Health Division will not be able to effectively provide Immunization related services
to the residents of Contra Costa County.
