RECOMMENDATION:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute contracts
with the following agencies as listed below, not to exceed a total amount of$342,219 Older Americans Act,
Title III E, Family Caregiver Provider Program to provide service in support of older adults and their caregiver.

FISCAL IMPACT:
$342,219 Older Americans Act, Title IIIE, 90% Federal, 10% State
BACKGROUND:
Contractors were selected through the open bid process and approved by the Contra Costa County Advisory
Council on Aging. The services are reflected in the Contra Costa County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Plan.
The contracts provide services to support older adults and their caregivers and families. Services include, but
are not limited to, respite, educational training, counseling, home modification and assistive living devices.
Support is also provided to grandparents and relative caregivers providing temporary of permanent custody to a
minor child or children.
