FISCAL IMPACT: $342,219 Older Americans Act, Title IIIE, 90% Federal, 10% State BACKGROUND: Contractors were selected through the open bid process and approved by the Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging. The services are reflected in the Contra Costa County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Plan. The contracts provide services to support older adults and their caregivers and families. Services include, but are not limited to, respite, educational training, counseling, home modification and assistive living devices. Support is also provided to grandparents and relative caregivers providing temporary of permanent custody to a minor child or children.
