RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20281, INCREASING hours of Registered Nurse-Experienced (VWXD) position#9207
from 30/40 to 35/40. [Represented]
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, there will be no annual and no net County cost associated with this request because the increase in hours will be
completely offset by the elimination of overtime.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department has requested the increase in hours for this position to meet the staffing needs of the unit. The
Department believes and HR Staff concur that the workload for this position warrants an increase in hours.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, it will 'affect the ability of the unit to effectively provide much needed health related services to the
citizens of Contra Costa County.
