BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S):
As a response to the Board's direction, County Administrator staff met with the Integrated Pest Management
Task Force to develop a focus on efforts that could be undertaken within the County's existing administrative
structure and with attention to available financial resources.
As part of the efforts, it was determined by the IPM Task Force that a consultant needed to be hired to review
the County's IPM program, policies and procedures.
After a solicitation process, in which the proposals were submitted by several consultants to review the
County's Integrated Pest Management Program policies and procedures for advice on an integrated pest
management program, this firm was selected to provide that assessment.
