These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low-income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: On March 9, 2005, the Board of Supervisors authorized contracts between the county and the Antioch Partnership for Quality Childcare, Inc. (dba as Kids' Club) to operate the Fairgrounds childcare center in Antioch, CA. The agency has since determined that it is not feasible to continue operation. A letter of termination has been received by the Community Services Bureau, Employment& Human Services Department. Childcare service operation will transfer to another community based agency and is the subject of a separate board order. Services will continue uninterrupted with the approval of the new proposed contract.
