FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no cost associated with this action. BACKGROUND: Members of the Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorneys'Association petitioned and were granted informal recognition by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors on August 8, 2006 (Resolution No. 2006/485). The Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorneys'Association now seeks formal recognition of their representation unit consisting of the classifications Deputy District Attorney-Advanced, Deputy District Attorney-Basic, and Deputy District Attorney-Fixed Term. The Director of Human Resources reviewed the request and determined it to be in conformance with the requirements of the County's Employer-Employee Relations Resolution No. 81/1165, and has recommended approval.
