#28-754-1
Approval of Grant Agreement #28-754-1 will enable the asthma program of the Community Wellness
and Prevention Program of the County's Public Health Division to engage community residents, in an
effort to reduce the potential impact of diesel pollution, a major asthma trigger, in their communities and
improve their built environment. The goal of the Project is to improve the cooperation, communication,
and understanding between public agencies and the communities that are the most vulnerable to the
impacts of the expansion of goods movement, as well as, to develop community priorities that can
inform regional and state decision-making through February 28, 2009.
Three certified and sealed copies of the Board Order should be returned to the Contracts and Grants
Unit.
