OFFER OF DEDICATION - ROAD PURPOSES
Richard and Katherine Patterson, the undersigned, being the present title owner of record of the
herein described parcel of land,do hereby make an irrevocable offer of dedication to Contra Costa
County, a political subdivision of the State of California and its successors or assigns; for street,
highway landscaping and other public purposes, including maintenance thereof,the fee title to real
property situated in the County of Contra Costa, State of California, as described in Exhibit "A"
(written description) and shown on Exhibit 'B" (plat map) attached hereto.
It is understood and agreed that Contra Costa County and its successors or assigns shall incur no
liability with respect to such offer of dedication, and shall not assume any responsibility for the
offered parcel of land or any improvements thereon or therein,until such offer has been accepted by
appropriate action of the Board of Supervisors, or of the local governing bodies of its successors or
assigns.
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of Contra Costa County and it successors or assigns
and will be.binding upon the title owner of record and that owner's heirs, successors or assigns.

INSTRUCTIONS TO NOTARY
The following information is provided in an effort to expedite processing of the documents.

II. SIGNATURES FOR INDIVIDUALS -The name must be signed exactly as it is printed or typed. The signer's interest in the
property must be stated.
III. SIGNATURES FOR PARTNERSHIPS - Signing party must be either a general partner or be authorized in writing to have
the authority to sign for and bind the partnership.
IV. SIGNATURES FOR CORPORATIONS
Documents should be signed by two officers,one from each of the following two groups:

Description of 5.00 foot Road Widening Dedication
A portion of the parcel of land described in the Certificate of Compliance, File#ZC-658, filed by the Contra
Costa County Community Development Director on May 4,2005 as Recorder's Series No. 2005-0158601; said
portion being a strip 5.00 feet in width,the northwesterly line of which is the southeasterly line of Sandmound
Boulevard, a county road, and the southeasterly line of which is 5.00 feet distant therefrom by right angle
measure, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the southeasterly line of Sandmound Boulevard, said point of beginning being the same
point described as the True Point of Beginning of the above mentioned Certificate of Compliance;thence
continuing along said southeasterly line of Sandmound Boulevard N49 33'E 86.45 feet to the most northerly
corner of the aforementioned parcel; thence leaving said southeaserly line S 17 26'E 5.43 feet along the
northeasterly line of said parcel;thence leaving said northeasterly line S49 33W parallel to the line of
Sandmound Boulevard 86.45 feet to the southwesterly line of said parcel;thence N17 26'W along said
southwesterly line 5.43 feet to the point of beginning.
Being 432 square feet in area, more or less.
