WHEREAS,Joyce Gunn has been an employee of the Contra Costa County Library for 15 years, AND
WHEREAS, currently, as Senior Branch Librarian for' the San=Ramon and Dougherty Station Libraries, Joyce
manages all aspects of two large and very busy bxanch l liiaries;with"responsibility for personnel, facility
maintenance, public relations''; collections, 'programming;outreach efforts -volunteer services, and other
activities that ensure thez:dehvery"of excellent library service to tlie.San Ramon community. This also includes
serving as liaison with';city staffµand officials,,�the city-appointed Library Advi ory`C6mmittee, city planning
and event committees,the San`Ramof.Library Foun"""dation;and other comniunityorganizations, AND
WHEREAS, Joyce s enthusiasrn�for her work is contagious and she inspires.both her staff.and members of the
