SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20051, increasing the hours of position
#8879, Public Health Program Specialist and its incumbent from 35/40 to 40/40 and
decreasing the hours of vacant position #8583, Homeless Services Specialist from
40/40 to 20/40.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual net savings of $19,092 when the
Department fills the vacant Homeless Services Specialist position.
BACKGROUND:
The Department is requesting this action due to the anticipated change in workload in
the Childhood Obesity program.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The consequence of negative' action will result in Department's inability to effectively
provide public health services to the community.
