I. ADOPT Resolution approving the conveyance of surplus real property to Evelyn Marion,Administrator of the
Estate of Helen M. Taylor. 1
2. DETERMINE property to be no longerl necessary for County purposes.

3. APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the conveyance of said property to Evelyn Marion, Administrator of the Estate
of Helen M. Taylor, pursuant to Government Code § 25526.5.

4. AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors,to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County.

5. DIRECT the Real Property Division to.have the above referenced Grant Deed recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder. 1

Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
I
The County acquired certain real property at various times in 2001 and 2002 for the State Route 4 Widening, Railroad
Avenue to Loveridge Road Project. The improvements along Frontage Road have been completed and this small
portion of land is no longer required for the project. The County wishes to convey this portion of land to the adjacent
property owner to be used as additional plottage at no cost to the owner and to relieve the County of liability of
maintaining the property. I

The County would own and be liable for the maintenance of the property.

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
I
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property at various times during 2001 and 2002 in
the.Pittsburg area,described in Exhiblit"A"attached hereto,for roadway purposes. Said property is
DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes and its
estimated value does not exceed $25000.00.
I
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Chair, Board of Supervisors, is hereby
AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County.

The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder. I
