SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)AND BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
ACCEPTING CANVASS OF VOTES FOR POLICE SERVICE AREA P-6,
ZONE 1616, SUBDIVISION 048905
The Board received the Certificate of the County Clerk giving the results of
the March 21, 2006 Special Election for County Service Area P-6, Zone 1616,
Subdivision 048905, wherein each landowner of the affected area was allowed one
vote for each acre or portion thereof on Resolution No. 2006/02 so as to authorize a
special tax on property located in Zone 1616, Subdivision 048905 of County Service
Area P-6 to maintain the present level of police protection service and provide
additional funding for increased police protection service.
The Board hereby ACCEPTS the Canvass of votes from the County Clerk-
Recorder showing the Measure passed as follows:

Special Election. 1 further certify that the statement of the votes cast, to which this
certificate is attached, shows the whole number of votes cast in said County, and the
whole number of votes cast for and against the measure in said County and in each
respective precinct therein, and that the totals of the respective columns and the totals
as shown for and against the measure are full, true and correct.
