SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution Number 2006/Lzimplementing a Performance Pay Plan for the classification of Special
Projects Manager.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost associated with this action as the salary for this classification has already been approved by
the Board of Supervisors.
BACKGROUND: On January 24, 2006, the classification of Special Projects Manager was created and
allocated to the same salary as that of Deputy County Administrator. As the salary range for Deputy County
Administrator consists of (9) merit steps and (2) performance steps, the new class of Special Projects
Manager will as well. The attached resolution establishes the performance pay plan for this classification.
