FISCAL IMPACT None. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS On December 20, 2005, the Board of Supervisors referred the items described in Exhibit A to the Committee for 2006 and requested that the Committee report to the Board on any goals for 2006 in addressing these referrals. During February and March, the Committee reviewed these referrals and the last action taken on these referrals with affected County staffers. The Committee established more specific goals or issues for the Committee to address in 2006, as appropriate. These goals and issues are described in the last column of Exhibit A.
