SUBJ: RELISTED to undetermined date to approve and authorize the Health Services Director,
or designee, to issue a 30-day advance written notice to Cyracom International, Inc., to
terminate the contract to provide language translation services, effective at the close of
business March 9, 2006.

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
r� RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee (Richard Harrison) to issue a
30-day advance written notice to Cyracom International, Inc., a Corporation, to terminate Contract
#27-543-4 for provision of language translations services, effective close of business on March 9,
2006.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None. Cost to the County depended upon utilization.
BACKGROITNDIRFASONCS) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S)-
On September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-543-4 with Cyracom
International, Inc., for the period from September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006, for the
provision of over-the-phone interpreter services for Contra Costa Health Plan.
Approval by the Board of Supervisors will allow the Health Services Department to issue a thirty-
day advance written notice to the Contractor, in accordance with General Conditions, Paragraph 5.
(Termination and Cancellation), of the Contract, that the Contract is terminated effective close of
business on March 9, 2006.
