On this day the Board of Supervisors adjourned this meeting in memory of
Irvin Scales,Jr. Irvin Scales,JR, loving husband, father and friend. A
Pittsburg resident for over 50 years Irvin Scales,Jr. died Saturday,March 5,
2005. He worked in the construction industry for Local 324 and owned and
operated his own scrap iron business, J.R. Savage. He is survived by his
wife Hazel Scales, daughter Shanelle Scales and son Travis Elliott,brother
Hooper(Ben) Scales, sisters,Theolia Berry,Vera May Cobb,Lenora
Mumphrey,Velma Hopkin, and Virginia Williams.
