The final development plan application, which includes a more refined proposal including 549 multi-family residential units; 35,590 sq.ft. retail; 12,130 sq. ft. (10 units) of live-work/retail; 270,000 sq. ft. of commercial office; 19,400 sq. ft. conference area; and 1,816 structured parking spaces for the proposed uses and a subdivision is currently under consideration. The 18-acre site is the location of the Pleasant Hill BART Station,which includes the station, 1,337 space parking garage and 1,477 surface parking spaces in the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area in Central Contra Costa County. It is anticipated that the Final Development Plan will be considered by the County Planning Commission in May 2005. The Board of Supervisors approved the preliminary development plan on November 5, 2003, with an expiration date of May 5, 2004. The Board of Supervisors approved an extension of the Preliminary Development Plan to May 5, 2005, due to the time it has taken to prepare the complex final development plan. The request is consistent with the P-1 Ordinance Code and the Disposition and Development Agreement. I
