Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-502-15, with the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs,, to amend Standard Agreement #29-502-13, effective July 1, 2004, to reflect an increase by the State,, Federal Block Grant and Federal Drug Medi-Cal funding, in an amount not to exceed $538,312 for fiscal year 2004- 2005, with a new payment limit of $11,251,368, and no change in the original term of the Contract from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2008. FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this (Amendment) agreement will increase the funds for fiscal year 2004-2005 by $538,312 from the State, Federal and Federal Drug Medi-Cal as follows: FY 2004-05 As Amended Net Chancre State General Funds $ 2,f497,r836 $ 2f772F085 $ 274,249 Federal Block Grants 61619f951 6, 626r764 61813 Federal Drug/Medi-Cal 11595,269 1f852,51.7 257,250 TOTAL 10,713,056 $11,251,368 $ 538,312 The required County match for this Agreement is $50,972, and is included in the Department's Fiscal Year 2004-2005 budget, of this four year Agreement. BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR REQ01vMNDATI This Standard Agreement #29-502 is a combined Negotiated Net Amount (NNA) and Drug/Medi- Cal contract. Like the NNA Agreement (effective July 1,, 2004 through June 30, 2008) , this Agreement requires counties to provide Drug/Medi-Cal services up to their full State General Fund allocation for Drug/Medi-Cal match. If the required services exceed the allocation, counties may access a Drug/Medi-Cal reserve set aside for this purpose. On May 25, 2004, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard Agreement #29-502-13 with the State Department of Alcohol & rug Programs, for the period from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2008, for the provision of Substance Abuse services Approval of this Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-502-15 will allow the County to continue to receive the full allocation amount included in the Agreement and make technical adjustments to Exhibit A-1 for the Prevention and Treatment Program,, through June 30, 2008. Three sealed and certified copies of this Board Order should be returned to the Contracts and Grants Unit for submission to the State.
