Knight, Director of Human Resources • COSTA DATE: April 19, 2005 COUNTY CUUK SUBJECT: Position Adjustment Resolution #19832 12, SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number#19832 to ESTABLISH the classification of Redevelopment Project Manager-Project (5AH4); ADD one (1) position; ALLOCATE to salary schedule/level B85-1788 ($6,031-7,331); and CANCEL one (1) Principal Planner-Level A position #485. FISCAL IMPACT: This action will result in a cost savings $ 6,132 annually. The cost is 100% within the Community Development's budget. BACKGROUND: This action is requested by the Community Development Department to establish a managerial classification of Redevelopment Project Manager-Project. The request is the result of a recent resignation of a Principal Planner-Level A. Currently, there is no eligible list from which to make a permanent appointment to fill the vacancy. The Redevelopment Project Manager will provide staff support to the Redevelopment Agency with issues pertaining to the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Committee and economic development activities in North Richmond.
