ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 19877 adding a Battalion Chief position and canceling a
vacant Second Assistant Chief position in the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, as
recommended by the Interim Director of Human Resources.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is an annual cost savings of approximately $23,316.00 associated with this action.
BACKGROUND
This action is requested by the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District to better reflect the duties
and responsibilities of the position.
