RESOLUTION HONORING THE FOUNDATION RESOLUTION NO. 2004/248
FOR OSTEOPOROSIS RESEARCH AND EDUCATION
WHEREAS, the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education {FORE} serves as a premier
resource center for individuals, clinicians and the general public to prevent osteoporosis; and
( WHEREAS, the Foundation's Awareness and Education Campaign is being honored for the goal of
reducing the most common disease in women past menopause which affects approximately 5 million
Californians and often leads to fractures that cause permanent disability and loss of independence; and
WHEREAS, the community of Rossrrle-pendent and productive residents at
risk for this disease which has been ole am pile =# World Health Organization; and
