Code § 25526.5 &25526.6) SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2004/ 244 approving the conveyance of Flood Control and Water Conservation District interest in real property to the City of Antioch,in Connection with DA29G and DA29J. PW 83/807 and 83/809 Project No. 7568-6D8408 Antioch Area. District V The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County,as the governing body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District RESOLVES THAT: The Board approved the Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance on June 7, 1983,in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Antioch. Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District acquired certain real property by Deeds on February 17, 2004 by Recorder's Series #2004-0049847-00, on January 31, 1995 by Recorder's Series # 95- 015372, on June 4, 1984 in Volume 11819 of Official Records at page 790, and on March 13, 1989 in Volume 14930 of Official Records at page 876. The District also acquired certain real property by Easement Deeds in the Antioch area,described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto, for said project. Said interest is DETERMINED to be no longer necessary for the District or other public purposes. This Berard hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said interests to the City of Antioch,pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and 25526.6,and the Chair,Board of Supervisors,is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed and an Assignment of Easement on behalf of the District, in accordance with the maintenance of drainage facilities on file in the Public Works Department. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed and.Assignment of Easement to be delivered to the grantee for acceptance and recording.
