BACKGROUND/REASON(S) ICOR REC011hMENDA1I0N(S): On March 25, 2003, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract#26-362-3 with Bay Area Mobile Apheresis Program now know as Dobri Kiprov, M.D., Inc. to provide the necessary equipment and qualified professional staff to conduct therapeutic apheresis procedures at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, for the period from April 1, 2003 through March 31, 2004. Approval of Contract#26-362-4 will allow Dobri Kiprov, M.D., Inc. to continue to provide therapeutic apheresis services, through March 31, 2005. In.June 2003, the County Administrator approved and.the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract#27- 247-5 with Charlotte Nagel, M.D. (dba Aaron Vision Center Medical Group), for the period from May 1, 2003 through April 30, 2004. Approval of Contract#27-247-6 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide professional Ophthalmology services to Health Plan members, through April 30, 2007.
