on the occasion of his Retirement from the }
Public Works Department ) RESOLUTION NO. 2004/108
WHEREAS, Isaac "Skip" Epperly began his career with Contra Costa County on
November 24, 1975, and for over twenty-eight years has dedicated himself to public service
within the County, most recently working for the past eleven years as an Administrative
Services Assistant in the Special Districts Section of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, Skip took on this highly public and visible area of responsibility involving
the formation, operation, and staff support for numerous County Service Areas, Community
Service Districts, Landscaping and Lighting Districts, Sanitary Districts, and Geologic Hazard
Abatement Districts; and
WHEREAS, Skip was able to fulfill many of the desires and needs of each community
served by County Service Areas and Special Districts, through hard work, leadership,
teambuilding, and commitment;and
WHEREAS, Skip has been an ever reliable resource for the County, a dependable and
steadfast contributor on numerous issues and projects, such as facilitation of the adoption of a
landscape assessment for the Pacheco Beautification Project, which will benefit the citizens of
the Town of Pacheco and Contra Costa County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Contra Costa County Board. of
Supervisors does hereby congratulate Isaac "Skip" Epperly on the occasion of his retirement
from the County, and thanks him for his dedicated service to the Public Works Department and
the people of this County, and wishes him well in all the endeavors that retirement has to offer
him.
