The site is contiguous and adjacent to the County's Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment Project. The Caption included a number of contingences, all of which were ultimately satisfied. On March 20, 2003 the Agency acquired the site. The site needs to be cleared of structures related to the former swim club use. A demolition bid process was used to determine the demolition contractor. Soil Enterprises Inc., Brentwood was the lowest of three bids, and are recommended for the demolition work.
