SUBJECT: APPROVE deposits to the Flood Control Revolving Fund by Flood Central Zone 313 and
Drainage Areas 10, 29D, 55, 56 and loans from the Flood Control Revolving Fund to Flood
Control Zones 7, 8 and 9 and drainage Areas 29E, 30A, 33C, 127, 290, 29H and 52D.
WHEREAS the following entities have funds that are uncommitted to projects in the short terra and are
available for deposit into the Flood Control District Revolving Fund:
Flood Control Zone 313(2520) $295,000 Drainage Area 55(2579) $150,040
Drainage Area 10(2554) $155,000 Drainage Area 56(2566) $250,000
Drainage Area 29D(2556) $30,000

WHEREAS the following entities need loans in the amounts indicated:

RESOLUTION NO. 20031 360
SUBJECT: APPROVE deposits by Road Control Zone 3B and Drainage Areas 10, 29D, 55, 56 to
the Flood Control Revolving Fund and APPROVE loans from the Flood Control
Revolving Fund to Flood Control Zones 7, 8, 9 and Drainage Areas 29E, 30A, 33C, 127,
29G, 29H and 52D

WHEREAS Revolving Fund Loans are needed to eliminate negative fund balances for Flood Control
Zones 7,8 and 9, and Drainage Areas 29E, 30A, 33C, 127, 29G, 29H and 521); and
WHEREAS said loans shall be repaid to the depositing entities within five years from the date of
disbursement from the fund from monies available to said entities through drainage fee revenue.
Repayment shall include interest on the unpaid balance at 2.52 percent per annum, which is the current
rate received on similar types of investments by Contra Costa County as determined by the County
Treasurer.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, as the Governing Board of Contra Costa County Flood Control
and Water Conservation District, that said deposits and loans are approved.
