Ill. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION AND BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa County Public Works Department's Maintenance Division has been selected
by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) to receive Pavement Technical
Assistance Program (P-TAP) funding for the development of a computer linkage between
Maintenance's pavement management software and the County's GIS, Funding for the project
will be $20,000. The Department is required to provide 11.47% matching funds ($2,204).
IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
A computer linkage between the Maintenance Division's pavement management software/program
and the County's GIS will not happen.
