(Ail Districts) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District on behalf of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program RESOLVES THAT: WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the California Oil Recycling Enhancement Act that provides for a Used Oil Recycling Bieck Grant (Grant) to eligible cities and counties for establishing and maintaining local used oil collection programs that encourage recycling or appropriate disposal of used oil; and WHEREAS, the California Integrated Waste Management Board has been delegated the responsibility for administering the Grant, which includes procedures governing the application by and payment to cities and counties; and I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy OPF:mm of an action taken and entered on the minutes of G:bGppataWDESN80_Res_contracts Agmt1 the Board of Supervisor on the date shown. (All Districts) DATE: June 17, 2003 PACE: 2 WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Beard of Supervisors as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control District, on behalf.of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, desires to join with the following designated jurisdictions in the implementation of a regional used oil collection program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District authorizes the Contra Costa Clean Water Program to be applicant and lead jurisdiction for Used Oil Recycling Black grant, Fiscal Years 2003/2004 through 2006/2007, on behalf of itself and the participating jurisdictions (as shown by the attached authorizing letters). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Engineer, Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water District, on behalf of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, or its designee, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute in the name of the participating jurisdictions all necessary applications, contracts, payment requests, agreements and amendments hereto for the purposes of securing grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified in the grant application.
