BACKGROUND TREASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATTM S) In February 2003 , the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #74-1.85, with Windrix Transcription, Inc. , to provide expert medical transcription services necessary, to meet the ADA. accommodations for staff with disability, to provide medical transcription services for designated psychiatrists and therapists working in Psychiatric Outpatient Services, and to address the problem of illegibility on the part of professionals for which Contra Costa Mental Health has been criticized in State Department of Health Services, Medi-Cal audits. the Contractor will provide consultation and technical assistance to the Mental Health Director with regard to facilitation of the Federal SAMHSA Grant, the State Department of Health Services System of Care Contract, Interagency System of Care, and the Policy Council Projects.
