In the Matter of Acceptin and Givin RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notice of Completion of ontract with and NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Team Commercial Construction, Inc. (C.C. §3086, 3093) 2003/386
Budget Line Item No. 4407-4483 RESOLUTION NO.
Authorization No. 0928-WH483B
The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on October 15, 2002, contracted with Team Commercial
Construction, Inc. for the Crime Lab Extension at 1960 Muir Road, Suite 201,
Martinez for the Sheriff-Coroner, Budget Line Item No. 4407-4483, Authorization
No. 0928-WH483B, with Great American Insurance Company as surety, for work to
be performed on the grounds of the County, and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been inspected and
complies with the approved plans and specifications, and recommends its acceptance
as complete as of June 10, 2003; and recommends the withholding of $6,500.00
pursuant to the "withhold summary" provisions of the contract between Team
Commercial Construction, Inc., and the County; and
Therefore, said work is accepted as recommended above, and the Clerk shall file with
the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion
for said contract, and the Director of General Services, or desiggnee, is directed to
withhold monies otherwise due pursuant to the letter dated May 19, 2003.
Time extension to the date of acceptance is granted as the work was delayed due to
unforeseeable causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the
Contractor.
