Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall 2 of 8 Schedule Activity Actual/Estimated Date Grant Award May 20, 1999 Notice to Proceed May 8, 2001 Building Completion January 2004 Grant Deadline March 2004 After absorbing a four to six month delay during the first year of construction, the contractor continues to construct the improvements in accordance with the updated master schedule. This schedule indicates a substantial completion before the grant deadline of March 2004. The attached site photographs demonstrate progress as of February 2003. Grant and Match Cash Flow Period Estimated Actual 9/30/02 to 12/30/02 $3,078,785 $2,435,828 Billings for the quarter are slightly below estimated values. This results from down time due to the winter period. The next reporting period will include the agreed upon percentages for the month of January reflecting a higher than expected estimate by approximately 2%. This is attributed to a dryer than normal January.
