RECOMMENDED ACTION: ADOPT Resolution No.$023 approving the Performance and Evaluation Reports for HUD Capital Fuad Grant Nos, CA39P0115blOO, CA39P011 9200, CA391701'170798,GA39PO11708991 CA 9POI 160101 and CA39PO4690798 certifying that reasonable efforts have been made to allow residents to review and comment on said reports prior to submission to HUD. if. FINANCIAL IMPACT. There is no fiscal impact.associated with this action, except as stated under Negative Consequences below. Iii. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONIBACKGROUND In accordance with HUD regulations,the Housing Authority is required to provide reasonable opportunity to give public housing residents the opportunity to review and comment on the draft Performance and Evaluation Report for each Capital Fuad Grant awarded. These reports state the status.of each of tete.budgeted wank items, the amount of funds obligated and the,amounts spent. The 0spital Fuh Grant Program is used to fund mode=rnization and management for,the Housing Authority's'Conventional;Pu bile.Housing Developments. The reports for Grants Nos. CA39Pt11160100, CA391P0115020 , CA30PO1170798,.CA39PO1170800, CA39P©I160101 and CA39PO4590798 for the year ending 06/30101 are now due. In order to comply with the letter and intent of this regulation,the following steps were taken: 1) The draft Performance and Evaluation Report for each grant was posted stall Housing Authority.offices. 2) The draft reports were delivered to all Resident Councils. It is Our belief,therefore, that reasonable efforts were made to notify residents of their opportunity to review the draft Reports. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION. Should the Board of Commissioners elect not to approve Resolution No. 6023 the Housing Authority would not be in compliance with HUD regulations for Capital Fund Grant Program. Approves the Capital Fund Program Performanceand Evaluation Reports for grants CA39P0115CI1011 CA39P01150200, CA39PO1170796 CA39POI 170899, CA39POI 150101 and CA39PO4590798for the year ending ,lune 30, 2001. 2. Certifies than reasonable efforts have been made to allow residents to review and comment on the:report'prior to its submission to HUD, and the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa is authorized to submit any,additional information in support of this certification which may be required by HUD. 3.
