BACKGROUND At the February 5, 2002 hearing, the Boardagreed that public information related to the filing of appeals should be updated, and requested that the revisions be forwarded to the Board. The Department offers information on the filing of appeals on the web page, and in brochures that are available at public hearings and at the Department office. In addition,I information is provided orally at each public hearing. The updates for each of these documents are attached, and will be finalized following the board's acceptance. ZC}NING ADMINISTRATOR INTRODUCTION TO HEARING Gond afternoon. The Conga Costa County Zoning Administrator's meeting for is in session. Would the staff please read the opening statement: ZA Some of the items appearing on today's agenda will be considered as Meeting- consent items. Consent items are meant to expedite applications that Hearing have been reviewed by staff and other interested parties and have been Procedure found to meet the intent and purpose of the County Ordinance Code and statement are presented to the Zoning Administrator with a recommendation for by staff approval. " Should there be anyone objecting to an application being considered as a consent item, that person should notify the Zoning Administrator that they wish to speak on the item. The item will then be considered in its normal place on the agenda. All other consent items will be decided at the start of the hearing. All persons speaking on items appearing on today's agenda should corns to the lectern and speak into the microphone for recording purposes. They should first say their names and state why they are in ;,opposition to the item being considered.
