BACKGROUND: Ms. Molinari has verbally resigned from the Advisory Committee due to health reasons. Due to her health status this member has been unable to attend the monthly Advisory Committee meetings since October 2001. When contacted by Public Authority staff, Ms. Molinari confirmed that she would be resigning from the Committee. However, due to Ms. Molinari's current health status, Public Authority staff has been unable to receive a written letter of resignation. Considering Ms. Molinari's verbal resignation and her inability to attend Committee meetings, it is appropriate for the Board to declare this seat vacant so the process can go forward to recruit a replacement for this vacancy. Ms. Molinari's seat is designated for an IHSS consumer under 60 years of age. f.
