RESOLUTION NO.2002/140
SUBJECT: Ratify prior decision of the Public Works Director to fully close all of of Parker
Avenue'on March},2002 from 8:00 AM through 10:00 AM, for the purpose ofthe
Annual Rodeo Baseball Association Opening Day Parade,Rodeo area. (District 11)
RC-02-1
The Public Works Director having reported that prior approval has been granted to Rodeo`
Baseball Association to fully close Parker Avenue,except for emergency traffic,on March 9,2002
for the period of 8:00 AM through 10:00 AM, subject to the following conditions:
l: Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets per plan approved by public works,
2. All signing to be in accordance with the:;State of California Manual of Traffic Controls.
3. Rodeo Baseball Associationshall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of
Contra Costa County.
4. Have on file with the County Public Works Department at the Application and Permit Center
a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000'for Comprehensive General Public
Liability which names the County as an additional insured.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department,the California Highway Patrol
and the Fire District:
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the action taken by Public Works Director is
approved.

and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date
shown.
