Asa former Commissioner,I can tell you from my own experience that an East County representative is vital to the health of the Commission. Frank has worked tirelessly in Pittsburg both as a past member of the City staff and as a volunteer citizen on various community projects. As a long term resident of East County, he has historical perspective and will bring a fresh, candid vi wpoint to the Commission. I can not stress strongly enough the importance of having a representative from East County to present its Environmental issues and perspective to the Commission. Most Commission members represent the voids, and Views of the Vilest and Central County. It is only when the Commission includes the voices and views of East County that the balance of influence is truly just.
