Supervisory Duties in the Class of )
Lead Telecommunications Specialist )
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors approves a request of the Chief Information
Officer—Director of Information Technology to restructure the salary range for Lead
Telecommunications Specialist (PETC) so that the position in that class which is assigned
additional supervisory responsibilities could be appropriately compensated for those
additional responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNTI'OF CONTRA COSTA BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in its capacity as governing Board of the County of Contra Costa
and all districts of which it is ex-officio governing Board,RESOLVES THAT:
1. Effective May 21, 2001, the employee assigned the additional responsibilities of
supervising the County's Telecommunications Telephone Section may receive a
ten percent (10%) salary differential on the basis of his current salary step.
2. The ten percent (10%) salary differential shall be discontinued upon removal of
the responsibility of supervising the County's Telephone Section effective the
first day of the month following.the removal of said responsibility.
