The project site involves street frontage of property owned by the Ambrose Park and Recreation District. The total estimated contract amount of $8,504 is included in the amended 2000/2001 Redevelopment Agency Budget for Capital Projects. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS The Ambrose Park and Recreation District requested funding from the Redevelopment Agency to cover the cost of sidewalk repairs along the Clearland Avenue frontage of property owned by the District. The project improves safety for pedestrians using Clearland Avenue neighborhood. On May 9, 2001, the Bay Point Project Area Committee recommended approval of the request for funding for the project.
