Notice of Completion of Contract with ) and NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Flagg Building Improvements ) (C.C. §3086, 3093)
Budget Line Item No. 6971-4529 ) RESOLUTION NO. 2001/327
Authorization No. 0927-WH529B
The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on June 20, 2000, contracted with Flagg Building Improvements,
for Kitchen and Cafeteria Air Conditioning at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, 2500
.Alhambra Avenue, Martinez, for Health Services Department, Budget Line Item No. 6971-
4529, Authorization No. 0927-WH529B, with Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of
America, as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the County; and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been inspected and complies with
the approved plans and specifications, and recommends its acceptance as complete as of July
17, 2001 ; and recommends the withholding of$500.00 pursuant to a letter dated June 25,
200 1;
Therefore, said work is accepted as recommended above, and the Clerk shall file with the
County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said
contract; and the Director of General Services is directed to withhold monies otherwise due
pursuant to the letter dated June 25, 2001.
Time extension to the date of acceptance is granted as the work was delayed due to
unforeseeable causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the
Contractor.
