SHIU, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: June 5, 2001 SUBJECT: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute a Consulting Services Agreement with Chris Hallford to work with the GIS Coordinator to define features and attributes and relationships for a varied set of GIS layers scheduled to be developed with the use of GPS data collection equipment. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute a Consulting Services Agreement identified below: Service Contract with Chris Hallford for the amount of $50,000. The service contract term is from June 1, 2001 to June 1, 2002. If. Financial Impact: No financial impact to the General Fund monies. The cost to be funded by the Flood Control District Funds.
