HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06052001 - C.69 TO: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 'a ' Contra .f FROM: TONY COLON, DIRECTOR ' ',• COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT a' '� � Costa DATE: June 5, 2001 County°STa�• - SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Community Services Director or designee to execute and submit to the California Department of Community Services and Development a contract Amendment No.2 (County #39-847-5) to the 2000 State Standard Agreement #OOE-1264, to make adjustments in reimbursable amounts for individual service activities with no change in contract payment limit, through December 31, 2001 to provide additional energy efficiency measures to low income Contra Costa residents. H FINANCIAL IMPACT: This Contract is Federally funded through the California Department of Community Services and Development with Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program and Emergency Contingency Funds. No County funding is required. III BACKGROUND: To adjust the reimbursable amount for individual service activities from $2,400 to $2,500. On December 19, 2000, the Board approved the 2000 Low-income Home Energy Assistance ProgramlWeatherization Emergency Contingency Funds (ECF) State Standard Agreement with the California Department of Community Services and Development (State) to provide emergency weatherization assistance, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), and Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) assistance to eligible county individuals and families for the period from November 15, 2000 through December 31, 2001.
