Eizo & Mary Kobayashi for their )
Contributions to Contra Costa County ) RESOLUTION NO. 2001/209
WHEREAS, Eizo & Mary Kobayashi have been a part of Contra Costa County since buying
their home in Concord in 1965 and live there today; and
WHEREAS Eizo & Mary Kohayas&s contributions to the community are enormous,
particularly in the areas of anti-discrimination. Eizo & Mary Kobayashi are active in the
Japanese American Citizens League, the Humane Society, the Concord Senior Center, the Unity
Foundation, Concord Ambassadors, Conflict Resolutions Panel and the. Habitat for Humanity;
and
WHEREAS Eizo & Mary Kohayashi's many humanitarian deeds and services, as well as
their commitment to and participation in community activities have shown us that they are
extraordinary Americans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Board of Supertvisors for Contra
Costa County, join The Rainbow Community on Saturday, June 2, 2001 in honoring Eizo &
Mary Kobayashi:
