RESOLUTION NO. 2001/ 276

TO: The File MS 6-94
FROM: Emy L. Sharp
DATE: July 2, 2001
SUBJECT: Board Order C.12 dated June 26, 2001
On the said above Board Order C.12 dated June 26, 2001, I found out there were discrepancies on
the Board Order and the letter attachment issued by the Treasurer-Tax Collector.
The following discrepancies were:
On the Board Order the MS# was MS 6-94, while on the letter it was 94-6.
On the Board Order the City was in Concord Area, while on the letter it was Walnut Creek Area.
Left the message in the voice mail of Katrina Walters and in return Brian from Public Works
responded to me about the error. It so happened when Brian called up Mr. Richard A. Kerr was
in the office informing me of the error and said that he is on his way to the Tax Collector to do
the corrections on the error. Advice Mr. Kerr to bring the corrected letter back to the Public
Works and in return the Public Works will be the one to give us the letter. The next day Friday,
Mr. Kerr came with the revised letter, explaining to me that the way the Tax Collector type the
MS number is year first and then the number. The,City was changed from Walnut Creek to
Concord Area. Then Mr. Kerr said that the amount was also changed from $1,500.00 to
$3,500.00. Then Mr. Kerr left going on his way to Mr. Joe DeMaggio but informed him that the
Public Works doesn't work during Fridays. He said that Mr. DeMaggio works during Fridays.
On July 2, 2001, Joe DiMaggio, Public Works Department, phoned to talk to Emy and Ann
regarding the corrections on C.12 from June 26, 2001. After discussing the matter, Mr.
DiMaggio informed Ann that he would issue a new order rescinding C.12 from the June 26`h date
and approving the parcel map with the corrected documents and a corrected Board Order. He
would do this in approximately two weeks.
On July 3, 2001, Ann spoke with Sharon Anderson of County Counsel and Sharon advised that
this would be the appropriate method of correcting the errors. She advised that we sign off of
C.12 since it did happen on the June 26`h calendar but hold it in abeyance for the correcting
documentation which would be forthcoming from Mr. DiMaggio.
Ann informed Emy of these instructions and asked her to carry them out.
