Please keep in mind that The final price includes everything for a " turnkey" operating command vehicle. This is not limited to the, new High band radio equipment Contra Costa County is switching over to. The Chief has considered future operating needs when putting this out to bid {i.e.: High Band, Low Band communication, latest command vehicle technology, lights, siren, faxes, etc.). As you can see by the bids, the Chief has saved the OKFPD District several thousands of dollars. In addition, the contract was signed on the last day of an offered rebate saving an added one thousand dollars. The OKFPD commission reviewed all the bids and voted an approval prior to the ordering of this much-needed vehicle.
