Recommended Action: A. APPROVE the Relocation Assistance Claims listed below: CLAIMANT CLAIM DATE PAYEE AMOUNT Debra Rental 5-01-01 Debra $8,422.32 Fredenburg Assistance Fredenburg Nanju & Charnjit Rental 5-01-01 Nanju & Charnjit $20,548.92 Ram Assistance Ram B. AUTHORIZE the Principal Real Property Agent to sign said claim forms on behalf of the County. C. APPROVE payments as listed above for said relocation expenses and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the amount totaling $8,422.32 payable to Debra Fredenburg, 175 Frontage Road, Apt. 29, and $20,548.92 payable to Nanju & Charnjit Ram, 175 Frontage Road, Apt. 9, Pittsburg, CA 94565 to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery. Financiallmpact: Payment totaling $28,971.24 to be made from the State Route 4 East Widening Project, Railroad Avenue to Loveridge Road, which is 100% reimbursable from Contra Costa Transportation Authority. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The claimants resided at dwelling units from which they were displaced because of the potential highway widening project. The payments are part of the relocation entitlement required by Government Code § 7260, et. Seq. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The County will not be in compliance with State and Federal law.
